I had an old Fitbit Charge HR years ago and used it for a couple years. I replaced it with an Apple Watch, but Apple never really gave me the health data I wanted. I got this a bit ago and LOVE it so far for all the reasons I disliked Apple.

Pros: Charge lasts a loooong time, which means more data since you’re not taking it off daily to charge. Heart rate monitoring is continuous. Simple display allows you to focus on specific health data. Love the sleep data too! Also, it has a true sleep mode that doesn’t light up at all at night compared to Apple, which still has some brightness in my experience.

Cons: connection to phone is a bit finicky, but never lags too long for me personally. Doesn’t connect to Spotify, a bit of a bummer, but not a priority for me. Also, have to pay for premium to access all the data, but with such an inexpensive device, this isn’t a dealbreaker for me either.

Overall, the Charge 6 is super lightweight, comfortable, and good quality! I’m so impressed at this price point.

Es un gran avance con relación a las primeras generaciones de Charges. Lo único que inexplicablemente no tiene es altímetro. Pero todo lo demás es de primera y a un costo con relación a otras marcas, realmente extraordinario.

I love the brightness of the display of Charge 6! The differences between Inspire HR and Charge 6 where easy to adjust to and I was very happy with my new Fitbit device. It’s the app that is troublesome. The past two days, manual entry of exercise is wonky. And it is not just me – other users have reported same issue with the recent update that supposedly was meant to fix other bugs, but has obviously resulted in new bugs! I have reported this to Google and hope their developers will issue another update soon that fixes these, because right now, the stats cannot be trusted.

For example, here are screenshots of exercise entered yesterday and today. You see the start and stop times – but after saving my entries, the app auto-adjusts some of the entries and it shows 0 duration, even though the start and stop times show the correct duration.

Also, for treadmill today, I entered 1.0 mile, starting 7:14am, 21m 25s, and after saving, the app changed the distance to 0.62 mile and 0 duration. Totally bizarre. What else is it doing wrong? Hard to feel any certainty about calories burned, other than I know over time what I usually burn when I am this active. I had to adjust the distance for Treadmill, from my actual 1.0 mile to 1.7 mile, just to get the app to count 1 mile – if this is AI, it is very disappointing, and annoying.

Also today, I did 5 minutes Elliptical and entered it, and that keeps disappearing. Then suddenly switches and renames the Treadmill entry “Elliptical”, then disappears again and the Treadmill entry shows up, but not both, which I have entered again, restarted my device, deleted the app and reinstalled it, restarted my phone – all of that stuff – and it’s still incorrect.

Using Fitbit iOS with an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I have been using Fitbit since 2020, never had problems like this until recent app updates.

Great battery life with the nice and simple Fitbit app makes this a great watch. The health tracker is also pretty good for running, and biking, not so much for strength training as it’s not accurate at all. The sleep tracker is correct for a timeline of my sleep but don’t rely on it for sleep stage tracking. Definitely the fitness watch to get in it’s price range.

  6. Awesome

Mi mujer tiene un dispositivo chino cuya app es gratuita y brinda mucha más información presentada de manera más inteligente que lo que brinda la app de pago de este Fitbit…Estoy arrepentido de haberlo comprado.

I wanted to use it for a few weeks before leaving a review.
At first i was not so sure but now i love it!!
Im a runner so being able to go on a run without having to check my phone is awesome. Tracking is super accurate!
    Battery life is awesome!
    Very pretty and small!
The only downside is that it’s connected to youtube music instead of Spotify? Why? Idk but other than that it is very good!!

Also, if you are looking for a watch to count you steps maybe go for another one because this one counts your steps and arm movement. So a little lack of accuracy there but nothing major for me.

I received this watch as a gift about 6 months ago. I’m giving it 5 stars, because I love the sleep tracking features, and the smart wake. I also exercise by walking. This morning I went out on a stroll and it tracked every step of my 2 mile hike. It was an urban hike. I reached my target heart rate by the time I looped around. I didn’t know that it was 2 miles until today.

From what I read, it doesn’t work so well with an iPhone. I have a Pixel 6, which runs Android, and I haven’t had any issues. The one thing I don’t understand is that some people have been reviewing it at a lower overall rating than I was expecting. I think it may have something to do with wrist size. I have the band at the largest setting, and it sits a bit loosely on the back of my wrist. I have never had any problems getting the sensors to work at that level of tightness (well, looseness). It does come with two different sizes of bands, so you may want to try both, if you have a medium to small wrist size.

I have never had any quality issues with the watch. I love the sleep tracker. It tracks down to the nearest minute, and with the Fitbit app, you can see how much waking time, REM, light sleep, and deep sleep. I need it the most to figure out when I was sleeping, and the quality of my sleep. I have no issues with it, at all.

I almost gave it 4 stars, because it has a small and narrow screen, and in order to use some of the features, you have to scroll. up, down, left, right, and multiple screens. I don’t need most of these features, but they are nice to have. I learned that I have a normal sinus heart rhythm, and I’m not overly stressed.

Anyhow, I could write more, but you get the picture. You should probably read some of the reviews, to get a better impression (not just 5-star ones).

    Good luck!
